I am Mr. Darcy
Until now I had thought I was more like Lizzie Bennet, you know a girl that is very close to her sister, who is honest, humble, who has good sense of humor, as well as a lot of flaws like everyone else (and a mother that talks a bit too much about marriage). And I do have those qualities but I'm also a lot like Darcy. I guess it's because is easier to identified with a woman when you are a woman but also I'm not exactly the same I was five years ago and things have changed. I'm serious sometimes, and it's something I'm still working on. Also I am a bit vain not in the
oh I'm so beautiful-kind of way but more in the
I know I work hard and I always try to be a good person so I don't like it when people look down on me. Like Darcy I don't have many friends but the ones I have, I care a lot about them. I'm too much rational as well, and have high standards for my life (What can I say, I'm an idealistic). So in conclusion, I am like both of them.
I think one of the reasons why these characters are still so loved is because they are not perfect, they do their best, and learn and become better with their experiences and that's something we can all relate to. God knows is a struggle every day to overcome our flaws. No more proof that the web series
The Lizzie Bennet Diaries which is the recommendation of the day, (yeah!) I just fell with the story all over again. If you haven't seen it, give it a shot. It's so creative and they have made an awesome job with the twists and the characters. So far, it's my favorite adaptation of the book and the modern aproach made realize how much of a Darcy I am.
